Kris & Doggies was born from love, loss, and the unbreakable bond we share with our dogs. When we lost our beloved Cavalier, Oreo, unexpectedly in 2016, our hearts were shattered. Caring for other dogs became a way to heal, not just for us,  but also for our other 2 furbabies, Biscuit and Elmo, as well.

 

The first dog we welcomed was Noodle — an adorable, cheerful moodle, who reignited joy and brought light back into our home. One dog soon became many, and before we knew it, a beautiful community of dog parents had formed — people who, like us, loved their dogs as family.

 

As our journey grew, Kelvin (fondly known as Uncle K) joined full-time during COVID, bringing his calm energy and shared passion to every wagging tail that walks through our doors. What started as a small act of healing has blossomed into a family mission — to create a safe, loving, and enriching space where dogs thrive and families feel supported.

 

Kris’s (also affectionately known as Aunty K) pursuit to improve the longevity of her beloved pets began with her first pup, Biscuit, a (too) clever Jack Russell Terrier, in the early 2000s. Kris’s  commitment to lifelong learning form the foundation of Kris & Doggies.  Over the past 20 years, she’s deepened her knowledge through ongoing education in dog training, dog grooming, animal first aid, holistic animal care and animal communication. She believes that continuous learning is the key to improving not just the lives and well-being of our own furbabies, but every dog in our care.  We truly want to help every dog live longer, healthier, and happier lives.

That’s why our mission extends beyond daycare. We’re here not only to care for dogs, but to educate and empower pet parents — helping them build stronger bonds, healthier habits, and happier homes for their beloved companions.

 

Our love for dogs and passion for photography naturally weave into everything we do, capturing every wagging tail's joy, personalities, and the special moments that make every day at Kris & Doggies unique.
